New CTX 19" monitor. When using visualisations in WMP9 in full screen mode
it doesn't fill the full screen, there's a 1.5" gap down the left side. No
other problem on PC and it works full screen on 17" monitor.

Try moving the screen 1.5" to the left, by using the controls on the
monitor. Just play with the controls and you will get it right. Also try the
driver that came with the monitor if you got one.

I had similar problems with a KDS monitor, when a particular program didn't
view correctly, I would adjust the screen. After that it would work like a
champ. I never had to adjust it back to previous settings.

Your monitor needs to be adjusted for each screen size and resolution, which
I suspect is changing when you go to full screen mode in WMP9.

Thanks for the replies, updated video card drivers and all seems OK now. I
had been using native XP drivers and they're limited in function compared to
correct Matrox ones.
