Re: A+ Questions Question

| I didn't have any questions of either sort on my exam.
Class C fire extinguishers are for electrical fires.
red is +5, white is -5, yellow is +12, blue is -12

| Those are all valid questions, although the fire extinguisher question
is open to interpretation (not withstanding how it started, is it an
electrical fire, or a "combustible materials" fire (there's LOTS of
plastic inside a PC). There's a lot to be said for class A-B-C fire
extinguishers.
On the power supply color codes, remember that a disk drive power cable
has red, black, black, yellow, and the square ATX12V power connector is
black and yellow. Red is 5v, yellow is 12 (and they are unlikely to ask
about any of the other wires).
They do have "photo identification" questions on the real test.

| I remember the fire extinguisher question was on my exam (I took it last
September). Of course the answer would be a class C.

| I took the core hardware last Friday and passed with an 831. I will take
the os test at the end of this month. The graphical questions are more of
the grayscale type. Terrible graphics.
