just recently when I type in hotmail.com i get an error message saying;

Cannot find hotmail.com. Make sure the path or Internet address is correct.

But it works when i add www at the begining

Actually this error comes up with any address that i type without www in the
begining.

Any ideas would be great. Thanks

Type www.hotmail.com everytime or add the www for all web addresses.

Do you use any type of file transfer system - ie. kazaa, Imesh etc?
Chances are that they have installed something like 'common name' which always screws systems up.

Just another thought - what sort of connection do you have? Dial Up or Cable
??
It could very well be a DNS problem.

Is there a way to fix this?
