| I know this question has been asked before however, I'm gonna ask it
again. I purchased the "All in one" A+ certification, 4th edition book by
Michael Meyers. I'm having a difficulty setting aside time to really
dedicate to the book; work, family, ect. My question is should I purchase
Michael Myers A+ Passport? From what I've read its a condensed version of
the all in one. Don't get me wrong the "all in one" book has a mountain full
of information and I plan to finish it and its a good reference however, I
would like to take my A+ exams before the end of the year and the additional
money I would spend on another book wouldn't hurt my pocket book.
Should I get the "A+ Passport" or just suck it up and read what I have now.
Thanks,

| Suck it up and read what you have now, not unless you know just about
everything thats in the 4th edition already.

Sounds right...from what I'ver read here and elsewhere the Passport
books are for those who need a brush-up, a get-up-to-speed, but if
you're on the ground floor, the All-In-One is the ticket.

| I read the 4th edition twice. I personally found it great for hardware , which
I passed , but failed the OS first time around. With all respect for Mike Myers
, I didn't see the OS questions I missed in his book. Having to buy another
test voucher I bought a voucher and 280 OS questions from transcender via
ExamVouchers.com and it was 145$ but I believe I am enlightened and plan
to take the OS in Nov before 2003 objectives change test. good luck...Pat
