I got an e-mail from and then checked out NetworkerDesigner.net and the
questions they have there really frightened me. They're asking how many
milliseconds it takes a HD to read a 4KB file and what chips would slot 370
use and other such questions. Are these kinds of questions really on the A+
exam?! My understanding from reading Mike Meyers books is that they don't
get that specific. Can someone please help me out here and tell me if I'm
panicking for nothing or if I should just give up now.

Thanks

Paul

this would be impossible to answer without more info
for the test I think it would suffice to know that file access time=avg.seek time+ avg.latency

Celeron666 is the only chip I've ever seen go in a slot 370 (MHz may be different on some models) but again I don't think you need to know this

I think you're panicking for no real reason
the best way to know when you're ready is when you can pick out poor/incorrect questions on practice tests, and can explain why every incorrect answer is wrong and why the correct answer is wright
if you can do that go for the test
