In 5 minutes...... got a 862 on my core

The test questions are like Transcenders questions and www.skilldrill.com
....i tried not to go fast on the test and take my time....but looks like i
kinda finished it fast.....here is my advice

Study from Multiple books....Sybex....Meyers...Exam Cram

Get a good nights sleep....Trust me i was tempted to study late also

Eat Breakfast

Make a 1 page / Two sided notes of important stuff

Look carefully.....for words like NOT and Except

i cant tell you the exact questions that i just had but i can tell you what
i didnt have

NO IRQ
NO DMA
NO I/O

1 SCSI
1 On a vacuum cleaner......i know what the hell is with that (About ESD)

Other questions were very generic in nature

DONT GET DISCOURAGED WHEN U FAIL THE BOOKS QUESTIONS

Yesterday i was failing questions left and right.....getttin around a 60-70%
range

I was using Microsofts Readiness Book and another book with all questions in
it

I believe that they made there questions REALLY tough so that if you passed
THEIR test there could be no possible way to fail the exams

My thinking behind this is so that there books dont get bad reviews
......From people who passed the books exam but failed the real test

Stick with Transcenders and SkillDrill

OS in a week or two

Rob

The Sp00fer Tom need not reply!!!!!!

Congrats on a great score with a quick finish. Let us know when you've
passed the OS exam, and we can have a "virtual" round of our favorite
brew with (not on) you!

congratulations

About studying from multiple books I approve. No one book has it all inside.
I also used several books and in every book I was finding something new or
better explained.
About making studynotes of course I approve too that's what I put on my
website
