| A buddy of mine is having trouble with a computer at his kids daycare,
here is his message, any thoughts??
Greetings yet again...
I have a problem. I volunteered to fix the computer in my little girl's
preschool room (should've let it alone, but wanted her to be able to use
it this summer). At the time I thought it was a bad CD drive. Well, I
got a different drive, switched them, and still the computer is not
recognizing
the CD drive. It is a Mac 5400/180 (about 8 years old). Internal SCSI
CD drive. The drive is getting power, because the tray will come in and
out, but no other response. This is just what the old drive was doing.
Any suggestions?
