Depends where and doing what. Break/fix positions are usually around
$15-$17/hour (I never understood the break part, does that mean you
break computers on purpose? ) ). General PC Techs usually make $12-
$17/hour, again, depending on experience.
The rule of thumb I use is to remain open. Setting a wage too low can
hurt you by getting less than what you are worth. Setting a wage too
high can also hurt you, because they won't even consider your
application.
