Author Query: POST Error codes / IO Addresses

I'm sitting my core exam in a week and still have 2 worries.

POST Error codes:
Could someone please list these if they're handy? I have 2 guides and
neither lists them completely.
I have: 1xx for CPU/mobo, 2xx for RAM and 3xx for keyboard but that's
it.

I/O Addresses:
I don't understand the format of these. My guides list them as eg.
170-178 but practice questions use 170H as a single address.
What's the difference? Is there an easy table or method of
remembering them? (I'm awful with numbers!)

Ta vry much for any help.

I wouldn't worry too much about post codes - they vary from different BIOS
manufacturers. I have seen one or two techs go off on the wrong tangent
when they thought all error codes were the same :-)
