Best Book for A+????
|
|
|
| Hi everyone,
I've just finished an A+ course(5 Saturday's in a row, 8 hours each
day) that used the Groth book(Sygate, I think). I thought I had a
pretty good handle on the material and have now started taking tons of
practise tests online to prepare for the real exams. I am doing
terrible on these tests!! There are TONS of questions that I don't
remember the book even mentioning. I'm getting real nervous about the
tests and I'm thinking of stating over with the Mike Myers book that
everyone seems to like(All in one). I guess my question is what book
seems to do a better job prepairing for the tests?? Are they equal or
is it worth reading a whole other book? Also, how much DOS command
stuff is on the tests?? Thanks all-I'm just getting nervous!

| The All in One is a great book if your first starting. But since youve
already gone thru another book and a class, i would suggest the A+ Passport
from Meyers.
It focuses on mainly the material that will be on the test, as opposed to
the All in One that goes into greater detail.
You might also look into some of the other "Cram" type books, people seem to
have their own favorite one.

The Meyers book heads the list. It really is the best.
