| I am seriously considering opening my own computer repair business and
would also like to offer some parts and accessories in my shop.I have
never run this type of business before (I used to own some trucks) and
was wondering how to go about getting started with a parts supplier at
better prices (so I can make some profit in this area).I read this group
daily although I rarely post. This is a great group with more than the
usual help and advice.I figured someone here would be able to point me
in the right direction.Thanks,
Mike

| Unless you buy in very large quantities you will pay the same thru a
distributor as you would at sites like Newegg.com.

I've been working in this industry for small business men for the last 5 or
6 years and as a small business person you really can't do better than the
on line places. Where you can make money is by choosing people that are
close to you and will give you quantity discounts.
A good place to look for a start is www.pricewatch.com as there are many
retailers that post there.
