| Hi. I have a clean installation of Windows 2000 professional and SQL Server 2000
(Standard Ed.) including Analysis server. The install went smoothly, and
fully updated with Service Pack 2 and fixes.
The problem I have is with "registering" a server in the Analysis Servers MMC. Whenever is right-click the SQL
Analysis Servers MMC Snap-in and select "Register Server", enter a server's
name, and click OK. I get an error: "Fail to connect to the server (server) or you are not a member of de olap administratos group of the server".
I am member of the olap administrators group of the server I'm trying to connect.
