MMC state save!

This is really annoying me....
If I run MMC with anything other than SQL7, it does a state save for me when
I close it down. Thus, when I start Enterprise Manager up, the window is
mis-sized to the screen, and the SQL subwindow is not fitted to the MMC
window.
Is there a way to at least set the windows to open tidyly? - I don't mind
not being able to state save, just would like not to be resizing every
session!
