| I get the message 'Error 5 occured while attempting to
perform NetUserChangePassword' in windows 2000 using sql6.5
This error occured when I try to reset CmdExec Password.
What in the world is wrong???

| My guess is that the Service account that the MSSQLServer service has insufficient permissions
(to change passwords).

| Ask you network administrator for getting an account with appropriate permissions.
It was a long time since I used 6.5. Either right-click the server in Enterprise Manager and
change account from there, or use Administrative Tools, Services.
