Thanks for your input, I gave it a try and still got the
same error, after further troubleshooting we discovered
the following:

A program in our system (NAL)was changing the Registry to
point to System rather that System32 and changing the SQL
Ver to 02.5. By editing the registry we corrected the
problem. We are looking at modifying the orignal program
that caused the problem.
