Frequently, my Win2k freezes and goes into the blue screen with the error
message:
"kmode-exception not handled Data Stamp......
classpnp.sys"

Then it reboots automatically!

Any way to correct this problem?

Thank you

laura

Is this anything to do with SQL Server ?

----

Have you recently
a.. Installed any extra hardware ?
b.. Installed any extra software ?
c.. Changed any software or hardware settings (however minor) ?
Without being TOO rude, if you don't post any details of what your problem is (to the correct newsgroup) , you're unlikely to receive much help.

Examples of extras (relevant) include:
a.. Has this only just started happening ?
b.. What version of Win2000 (Pro / Server ... Service Packs ???)
c.. What hardware does your machine have ?
d.. Have you tried searching for updated drivers ?
e.. What EXACTLY did the kmode-exception data say ...
Anyway, to help you on your way, try http://www.google.com/search?source...=classpnp%2Esys as a starting point.

Steven.
