SQL Agent Not Executing Jobs

I have a SQLAgent job (SQL2000 sp2 including Post SP2 fixes) that is broken
into two schedules. The first runs from 6AM to 11AM every hour and the
second schedule runs from 5PM to 11PM every hour. The first schedule runs
the job fine. The second schedule though doesn't seem to kick off at all
about 60 - 80% of the week. Has anyone run into this or something similar
and is there a fix out there for it?
