Hi Everyone,
I have a database and the transaction log is like twice the
size of the actual database. How do I shrink the
transaction log down. I did search the books on line but If
someone could give me the exact command or I would really
like to be able to do it threw enterprise manager. I do
have a full backup of the database and just want to either
start the transaction log over or just shrink it down. I
really dont understand how this works.

Thanks
in advance

Make sure you are backing up the logs otherwise they will
continue to grow.
To shrink the logs, refer to whichever of the following
Knowledge Base articles applies in your case:
INF: How to Shrink the SQL Server 7.0 Transaction Log
(Q256650)
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...b;EN-US;Q256650
INF: Shrinking the Transaction Log in SQL Server 2000 with
