| I'm in the process of moving things around in my Exchange
organization, and I want to re-enable instant messaging.
I've created a new IM server, migrated a test account to
use that server (and verified Active Directory has the
right data), and have made sure that the DNS SRV records
are still pointing to the right place.
When I attempt to connect via MSN Messenger I get the
following error:
"Signing into Exchange Instant Messaging failed because
the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again
later."
If I look at the logs of the IIS server serving the site I
see entries like this:
2002-08-15 17:25:08 10.0.6.135 - 192.168.0.17 80
SUBSCRIBE /instmsg/aliases/bspolarich - 401 -
2002-08-15 17:25:08 10.0.6.135 NEPHROS\bspolarich
192.168.0.17 80 SUBSCRIBE /instmsg/aliases/bspolarich -
200 -
2002-08-15 17:25:08 10.0.6.135 NEPHROS\bspolarich
192.168.0.17 80
SUBSCRIBE /instmsg/local/im.nephrostherapeutics.com/instmsg
/aliases/bspolarich - 2151678357 -
Any ideas?

| Are you using the correct MSN Messenger client?

Yes. The client was working before I moved my Exchange
2000 service to a new server. I'm using 3.5.0077.
