Author Link Monitor in E2K

Anybody have any ideas on what utility to replace the old
Link Monitor in E2K (and no Winroute will not do). I have
a complex mail environment, and deal with a number of
remote companies. Many of the e-mails sent and received
from a number of other corporations are time sensitive,
and link monitor provided an easy way to ensure that e-
mails went from point A to B in a certain time or an
alert was created. This happened regardless of what lay
between (this is an enterprise environment with
mailsweepers, SUN Unix/Sendmail and special ISP
which 'processes' our mail (even scans for virus) and it
would be impossible to monitor these - thats why link
monitor was so useful. I understand that MS might have
dropped this functionality - if so are there any
replacement products (apart from anything made by CA).
Regards
Mike
