Is there a way to remove an x400 address from the user?
My users have a smtp and x400 address on a Ex2000 site.
Is it possible or the ex2000 can't function without x400 and MTA?

Please, help - I'm stuck

In a word NO, you must not remove trhe X.400 address from a mail-enabled
user. If you do so mail for this user will not function correctly.

In addition to my previous message i wanna add what i read from ms
exchange2000 mcse training kit...
Exchange 2000 Server supports the X.400 standard through its Microsoft
Exchange Message Transfer Agent (MTA) Stacks service, which...
and
Seen from the perspective of previous Exchange Server versions, the MTA has
traded its role with the SMTP transport. It has given up the
responsibilities of the central routing engine and assumed the role of an
additional component connecting Exchange 2000 Server to foreign systems.

The same document shows how exchange 2000 can deliver messages just with IS
(so system attendant) and SMTP (so iis admin) services running... so it
seems quite clear exchange 2000 does not need x.400 addresses anymore. I'm
not using one and working without problems.
