Hi, all

I have a machine with Exchange 2000 SP 3 installed, and this machine is
answering for mydomain.com.br name... But the Netbios name is only REALDOM.
The virtual SMTP server is assuming the local delivery as realdom.com. But,
realdom.com is a valid domain of another organization. So, when I'm
trying to send e-mails to somebody@realdom.com, Exchange gives to me a NDR,
because it is searching for somebody in my Active Directory list.

How can I change the Local Delivery Domain from the SMTP Virtual server ?

Thanks a lot for all help

Change it on the "Advanced" button of the "Delivery" tab of the VS
property page.

After you do that, and the change has had a chance to replicate to all
the DC's, restart the System Attendant service to get the new name
into all the right places. After making the change, I've sometimes
found it necessary to restart the server. I never followed up to
discover why, though.
