Ok Very Very Dumb question but its late and I just put in a 16 hour day
switching some 300 users to DHCP....YEAH 2002 and we finally are using DHCP
Enterprise wide lol But that's a post for the "RANT ABOUT HOW IGNORANT MY
SUPERIORS ARE" newsgroup hehe

Any how I'm rambling.... Why is it I can only access the exchange tasks on
the exchange box under "Active Directory Users and Computers"? Why is the
exchange tasks option not showing up on my DC's "Active Directory Users and
Computers"??

Tired and Overjoyed with DHCP,
Brandon

Have you got the Exchange System Manager installed on the DC's you will not
get the Exchange Tasks without it.

Make sure you have ticked View/advanced features in AD users and computers

Ok thanks! I did have the advanced features checked however I did not have
the Exchange System Manager installed on the DC. I assumed that forestprep
and domainprep would have updated or "enabled" these features on the DC.
Learn something new every day....

Ahh well DHCP update

After last nights chunk of 300 users we now have 2500 of 5000 users pulling
IPs from our numerous DHCP servers.....Next Month we will implement WINS lol
j/j. Primary delay on the implementation of DHCP was gross number of users
and old routers/switches at our many facilities....Anyhow ill stop
ranting...Thanks so much!
