Hello,

We recently put in a new firewall and ADSL connection and ever since then we
have lost our OWA.

When I go into IIS, under the Mail Server, there appears 4 "Error" icons for
the Public, Exchange, Exadmin & Public Contacts Folders. If I click on any
of these folders the information relating to these folders is there.

If I go into IE and try and bring up OWA - http://server.com.au/exchange I
receive the following error message: "The Page Cannot be Displayed - The
page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be
experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings "

Thanks very much for your help.

Nina

If the only thing you changed was your firewall/internet connection:

--can you open up OWA internally? As in, http://<server's netbios
name>/exchange ? If so, it's something in your router/firewall...

--did you open port 80, and 443 if you're doing SSL?

--if you're using NAT, did you create a one-to-one NAT (public IP to private
IP)?

--does the URL you mentioned point to the public IP address of your Exchange
server?

Nina,

I also had this issue a while back. In my case it was caused by a wrong
binding order in a server that had two network cards. The local side
network card should be higher priority than the public side.

However, even before I worked this out, I found that I could start the sites
manually. It would be worth checking to see what IP address the exchange
website is listening on (and what port).

Hope this is of assistance.

Kind Regards,

Dan Hedley.

Nina,

What happens if you try to browse OWA by its server name from within the
network (ie, http://<server>/exchange?)
