I have a few questions regarding Mailbox Manager:

1. How does Exchange determine the age of an item when processing the
recipient policies? It doesn't appear to use the "received" date.
What date is used? How do we access that date?

2. If I have a recipient policy configured to process items in the
Inbox, will it process items in subfolders of the Inbox also?

3. If I wish to have MM move items in the inbox older than 30 days to
the deleted items folder, and permanently delete items in the deleted
items folder older than 40 days, is this possible? One recipient
policy can only choose one action, and I think only the highest
priority recipient for each user is used. Am I wrong on this, or is
there a way around this?

Any help or URLs to detailed information (this seems to be hard to
come by) on Mailbox Manager would be appreciated. Also, any
information on third-party products that perform automated mailbox
cleanup would be great!

Thanks,

The following two articles should cover everything that you asked:
