Dynamic distribution list?

| Hi,
I use Exchange 2000 and W2K AS. How can I setup a dynamic
distribution [mailing] list?
Do I use the Exchange admin tool to establish the list?

| Exchange 2000 Distribution List are Active Directory groups.
When you create a group in the Active Directory you can mail enable it
see it in GAL and sending mail to that group will end in it's members
mailboxes.
Use universal group if you are using a multi domain environment.

thx for your help. Using the "AD Users and Computer tool" I was
able to establish a mailing list (group type "distribution").
However from my understanding this is a static mailing list where
members need to be added. A dynamic mailing list contains no members
but a member filter. Means the members list is created at "runtime"
accordibg to the "member filter".
In the AD schema there is a Class called "ms-Exch-Dynamic-Distribution
List" which seems to have exactly that purpose.
How could I create a dynamic list?

| Dynamic distribution lists (DDLs) are not a supported feature in Exchange
2000, although some of the elements of that feature are present. There is no
GUI for creating or configuring one.
Although the AD schema contains some of the classes and attributes for
working with DDLs in a rudimentary way, there are still some schema changes
that need to be made in order to get them working fully, as well as some
registry changes.
We're considering exposing the DDL feature in Exchange Titanium.
