| I've been noticing tons of these in our event longs since the day that we
deployed Exchange 2000. Has in an attempt to prevent reinventing the wheel,
has anyone else found a solution? This happens with many users many times a
day. So far, I've noticed no problems, but it is clogging my event logs.

Description:
auser@company.com failed an operation on folder on database "First Storage
Group\Public Folder Store (ExchangeServer)" because the user did not have
the following access rights:
'Delete' 'Read Property' 'Write Property' 'Create Message' 'View Item'
'Create Subfolder' 'Write Security Descriptor' 'Write Owner' 'Read Security
Descriptor' 'Contact'

You can try this...
Check the permissions on the Public Folder tree and set them for the
following defaults:
Administrators: All permissions.
Domain Admins: All exceptnn"Full Control, Create Chjldren and Delete
Tree
Enterprise Admins: All permissions.
Everyone: All permissions.
Exchange Domain Servers: All except: Full Control, Write, Delete,
Change
Permissions, Take Ownership, Delete Children, Add/Remove Self, Write
Properties, Delete Tree and List Object
Verify correct operation of folders.
