| In an attempt to test out how the mailbox manger works, i
created recipient policy. I filtered the policy so it ONLY
included myself. I set the mailbox manager in this policy
to delete anything in the sent items that was older than 2
days old. I then right clicked on my server in exchange
system manager and selected "start mailbox management
process." What happened was the mailbox manager did this
to EVERYONE in the mailbox store. So now i have to do a
restore from last nights backup, and restore there sent
items folder. I dont get it if i applied this policy to
only myself, then why would it look at other mailboxes.
The default policy is set to jsut send a report, so it was
not this policy that did this. This does not make any
sense at all.
