I can't send emails to another domain

| Hello!
I have problem with my exchange 2000 server SP3. New users can't send email
out of my domain, but receiving works fine. Inside my domain I can recieve
and send emails. I don't know, what had happened.
Example:
As administrator I can still send/receive emails everywhere.
I will form a test user "TEST", but this user can send email ony inside my
domain. When I try send email to another domain, in message tracking centre
is SMTP:... (NDR) I don't remember exactly because I can't connect to server
now.
Any ideas? Thank you

Generally when everything internal works, and RX from world works, but TX to
world doesn't, there is a DNS lookup prob or a virtual SMTP prob on the exch
box. - if that helps narrowing down what to take a closer look at.

| Internal DNS was not installed while there was no connectivity to the
internet was it? Funny thing about installing DNS this way is that these
W@K DNS servers now believe they are the root. to find out, you can open
the DNS console and check to see if you have a "." domain listed. that
could be part of the problem. also if you can grab the NDR that would
probably be most helpful.
