Hello
i noticed today that when i create a user that the email address tab on the
user properties is NOT filling in the email address. there for i can't send
to it and the mail box is not created. i can't see any events that are
unusual either.

Does this sound fimilar?
thanks
Jon

It doesn't happen straight away; a process called the Recipient Update
Service (MSExchangeAL) stamps the addresses. Try seeing if the RUS isn't
running. Also, you can go into ESM, find the RUS, right-click it, and choose
Update Now.

Jon

Go into Exchange System Manager and make sure your Recipient Update Service
is configured correctly (i.e pointing to the correct DC and E2K Server, and
correct update interval).
