Hi all,

I have the following error on an Exchange 2000 Server (sp2) working on a W2K
(sp2) that is also my DC:

Source: MsExchangeDSAccess
Event ID: 2102

Description:
Process MAD.EXE (PID=2224). All domain controller server in use are not
responding:
server.sede.cnaparma.it

But my DC (it is the only DC I have) seems to work perfectly... I don't have
any problems... BUT I'm afraid about that problem....

Is anyone able to help me??
Thanks a lot

There's a few hits for this on the MS support site, including one fixed in
SP3. I'd take a look.

Already applied SP3 but the error still remains.
This is what technet reports :-) read the first sentence carefully ;-)

"Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeDSAccess
Event Category: Topology
Event ID: 2102
Description:
Process MAD.EXE (PID=1484). All Domain Controller Servers in use are
not responding: computer.domain.com

You can safely ignore the three events that appear together, as
described in the "Symptoms" section of this article.
The events are logged when a call to DsGetDcName is made before the
Microsoft Exchange Management Service is fully initialized.
DsGetDcName is a Windows Application programming Interface (API)
function that returns the name of the domain controller.
Microsoft Exchange Management Service is automatically installed when
you install Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 2 (SP2).
For additional information about the DsGetDcName function, visit the
following Microsoft Web sites:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...dsgetdcname.asp

http://www.microsoft.com/windows200...bc_nar_azuo.htm"
