| Hi gurus,
I have a problem to solve quicly or I'm a dead man.
We use an ADSL connection with several IP adresses. (ISP: Skynet, Belgium).
We have our own mail server (Win2K, Exch2K).
Apparently, when ceratin mail servers talk with ours (to deliver messages),
these seems to be very very very slow to be downloaded by our mail server;
most of the time, it's even a time out. (time out is set to 50 minutes right
now). (even for mail about 80k)
I have no problem with most of mail servers to talk but just some of them
and strangely (or not) these mail servers are the mail servers of our
provider; but mails come from other customer of SKYNET.
I logged my SMTP connector and also the tracking center. Tracking center
doesn't give a word (normal, mail never arrived) BUT in the log of the SMTP:
I have:
EHLO, MAIL, RCPT. That's all.
With another mail server (which work correctly); I have a complete
tranbsaction : EHLO, MAIL, RCPT, DATA, QUIT
Any idea?
Thanks in advance

| Hi Christophe,
I highly suspect there is an error while trying to set recipients on your
mail server. it seems that your server is unable to relay to specified
domains.
check your mx record and smtp authentication.
Hth,
Jimmy.
