Multiple Companies on 1 Exchange Server
|

| I have a customer that has 1 Active Directory for 3 Companies. They
currently have 3 Exchange 5.5 Servers 1 for each company in 3 Sites (no site
Connectors) all in 1 Location. They want to upgrade to Exchange 2k ideally
they would like to run it all on 1 Exchange 2k Server. The trick is that if
Company A wants to send mail to Company b or company C it has to go out to
the internet and back in. I was told about setting up 3 Virtual Servers on 1
big Exchange Ent. server. I can not find any info on setting up this. I know
atleast I should be able do this by upgrading the 3 Servers to Exchange 2k.
Some on told the customer that they would need to set up multiples forests
but I do not think it will be needed.
Any info would be apprecitated
Thank You

| Just out of curiosity why does it have to go out to the Internet and then
back in?, I cannot see any logical reason why they want this to happen.

| Well, here are a few links that should help you out with hosting multiple
domains:

http://www.microsoft.com/servicepro...nge/default.asp
I would try and get some clarification on why it is so important for the
mail to go out and come back in again.
Hope this helps
