Hi,
is it a good idea to have AD and Exchange 2000 on the same box. Right now I
have only DNS running and the Exchange installation is going really slow !?

I believe having AD on seperate machine does offload some of the heavy AD
task from Exchange. The installation is quite slow due to the schema
extension.
