Public Folder permissions

| I receintly add an Exchange 2000 server to my Exchange 5.5 site. I have a
ADC set up for both mail accounts and public folders. I migrated a few
mailboxes from the old server to the new and everything looks ok on them,
but..... new users created in active directory and on the new exchange
server do not have access to the public folders. They can see the list, but
are denied access. They are even denied access to folders that have been
replicated and rehomed to the Exchange 2000 server.
I have the same situation with a user that had his user account deleted. I
made a new user for him and reattached the mailbox to the user in the
Exchange 2000 admin console. He has no problems with mail or seing the
public folder folder structure, but he is denied access to the public
folders. (he is the owner of most of the folders)
Thank you for your help
