Author New OU not replicating

I created some new OU to separate people from into departments and I am
experiencing some quirky problems. Accounts that I move into any of these
new OU's do not replicate changes that I make to the GAL, such as
adding/changing an e-mail alias or updating a telephone number. However, as
soon as I move them back out to the default "Users" OU, the changes will go
thru to the GAL with my regular replication schedule. Any insights would be
greatly appreciated.
