We have created multiple public folder trees on our Exchange 2000 Box. When
creating public folder trees in Exchange only the default "Public Folder"
tree is accessible with a MAPI client. We are trying to find a way to use
the "deletion retention" time settings feature to recover deleted items from
these non-MAPI public folders. I can access the folders in OWA, but cannot
find a way to use the "Recovered Deleted Items" feature in Outlook to
recover deleted items from these folders. If anyone has found a way to
access these non-MAPI PublicFolders from a MAPI client I would be grateful.
If you have found this to be impossible please let me know as well.

Only one MAPI public folder tree is possible.
