Memory usage

I have a 2000 Ex server, with 1x1GZ cpu and 1gb ram, on task manager I can
see that STORE.EXE uses ~900mb memory, is this behavior normal?
Overall system performance is OK, only once in awhile client sees sluggish
response from server.
