Author Global contacts not appearing in Outlook 2002

I have some global contacts (not users) added to Exchange 2000 that appear
in the Address List previews using Exchange Admin, but not in the Outlook
"All Contacts" view (under "All Address Lists").

I have tried various recipient rebuilds, updates, exited Outlook and logged
off, then back on, etc. Has anyone else seen this? If so, how to fix?

Check to see if the contacts are set to be hidden from the address book
(need to view advanced features in ADUC).

Thanks, but they're not hidden. Anything else that would allow them to
appear in Exchange, but not Outlook?
