Is it possible to setup the Exchange 5.5 as an Internet Gateway server that
can route email between two different organization.

My organization required to setup a new Exchange 2000 organization which
will host half of our users . Currently we have an Exchange 5.5 organization
that responsible for all external emails as well it hosted rest of the
users.

Although Exchange version and organization is different the company wanted
to keep same domain name (email address) for both of the organization (we
will not have any duplicate mail box in either of the systems).

Please advise if I can do this or not.
