OWA in a Child Domain using FE/BE

We currently have server1.domain.com acting as a FE server for our forest.
Next is server2.domain.com as a BE and also server3.child.domain.com as a
BE. We are trying to access OWA via the FE server to access mailboxes on
the child domain BE, but the screen hangs on loading....We can access the
mailboxes in server2 with no trouble from the same PC.
