| If you get the error message "This e-mail address already exists in this
organization. ID no: c10312e7 Exchange System Manager" when trying to set an
e-mail address for a public folder although you know for sure that no other
user or public folder is using the address, try this solution:
Do a filter serach in the Address Lists to find out which invisible folder
is using the address.
Open Active Directory Users and Computers on a AD domain server and check
the Advanced Features option. The Microsoft Exchange System Objects folder
should then appear in AD and you can delete the previously invisible public
folder.
It took me 5 hours to find this solution so I thought I'd share my
experience.
I suspect that I got the invisible folder since we imported our Public
folders from an Exchange 5.5 backup when we first installed Exchange 2000.
