| I create a domain "pippo.loc" and an Exchange 2000 server .
In Outlook (some XP and some 2000) I set an exchange mailbox and a POP3 one.
I set the POP3 as preferred (default).
In this way outgoing mail should use SMTP server which is indicated in POP3
account.
Then, why sometimes do I obtain this message? (it's in italian)
Impossibile raggiungere i seguenti destinatari:

Problema si comunicazione SMTP con il server di posta elettronica del
destinatario. Contattare l'amministratore di sistema.

It seems it use Exchange to send mail... and it should not!
