I know I must be missing this...is there a way to forward
mail from your Exchange account to your external web based
e-mail account?

(I.E. Forward your 123@xyz.com (domain account) to your
123@earthlink.net or msn.com account)

Use Active Directory Users and Computers and create a Contact
Mail enable this contact give it the external e.mail address you need.
In Active Directory Users and Computers click the properties of your user,
in the Exchange general tab you will find the delivery option button.
Forward your mail to the contact you have created (you can leave a copy on
the server
or move the message ).
By doing it you will receive all mains to that external mailbox.
