Author OWA Server Name - Doesnt matter

I have a 5.5 server and 2k server.
In the AD I set a users OWA server name to my 2k server yet my 5.5 still
handles it. The mailbox is on the 5.5 Machine.

I have a mailbox on the 2k machines and the OWA still goes to 5.5 and there
is no option for the OWA Server Name.
How do i get my users on the 2k OWA and not the 5.5 OWA?

Thanks
Justin

To have a user use 2000 OWA they have to be a 2000 mailbox.

i have my user jdoe on the e2k system and if i do http://server/exchange it
redirects me to the 5.5 server..
so even tho the mailbox and account are on 2k it uses the 5.5 OWA...
if i do http://server/exchange/jdoe
it lets me in..
but i would rather not to do that.

Thanks
Justin

It should only require that if you are logging on from another user account
and not the user who has the OWA mailbox.. If it is redirecting you to 5.5
OWA then likely the Administrator account you are logged in as has a 5.5
mailbox. Logged on as that user in the local domain you should get the
correct inbox when you hit the OWA page.

From an external source using http://<fullyqulifieddomainname>/exchange it
should prompt you with logon credentials and then log you in to the
appropriate mailbox.
