| Hi,
I have not limit set in My exchange server 2000 for mailbox and email size.
But I tried to set mailbox size individually in AD user and computer. But
the warning never display even the mailbox size is exceeded and the message
still accepted.
Any idea?
Thanks
HW

| Did you configure issue warning, prohibit send, and/or prohibit
send/receive? Warnings are only issued at time of scheduled maintenance.
Prohibit receive only works if that limit is populated.
If this doesn't help post back with more details. tnx.

| If I set the limit when the mailbox is actually exceeded the limit set. Will
it notify the user or prohibit from receiving mail again?
Thanks

| Hi,
After I set the size, how can I make it take effect immediately?

| Greetings-
MS KB #Q327378 details a bug with this function and outlines updating to
SP3. Also says that unloading/loading the information store will cause
changes to take effect immediately.
Thanx
OregonSteve
