Hi,
I have setup a modem on our server with the intention of setting up Faxing
through exchange.

What I have been told is that you can basically print from any document
within the network and select the fax printer on the server adn viola, you
can then fax away?

I have been having several problems trying to print to the fax printer where
I get messages from the client end saying the Client Seup failed etc..

I am using SBS2000 with win98, Xp clients

any ideas?

NOTE: I am asking this because I was told that we do not need to purchase
any 3rd party fax software?

kind regards

Rossco

Hi,

Are you the one who setup SBS2000 ? If not get back to one who did & ask
whether the Fax server component is loaded as well & how to access it.

SBS2000 does comes with "Fax server" but it depends whether was it
installed at the beginning.

Hi,
thanks for that. No I am not the one who installed SBS but I did notice that
the "Fax Service" is available in the services console. Does this mean that
the fax server is installed?

I have tried to start the fax service but after about 10 minutes it stops.

regards
