Author Exchange Shared Calendar items losing start/end times

We are running Exchange 2000 sp2 on Windows 2000 sp2. We
use a public folder that has calendar items (created
using Outlook about 2 years ago). In the last several
weeks the calendar items have been losing their start and
stop times (i.e. an appointment set for 4:00PM to 5:00PM
changes to NULL) and therefore the appointments no longer
show on the calendar. If I switch views in outlook to
show me a list view of items regardless of start/stop
times they all appear.

Has anyone heard of this? I have restored exported
versions of this folder to recreate the items with their
appropriate start/stop times but every other day (or so)
they all dissapear. There are no other items in the many
public folders that appear misssing (they store message
items vs calendar items).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are these items (i) all recurring appointments or are they (ii) a mix of
some single-instance and other recurring appointments?

Any errors/warnings in application event log on server?
