Author Using public folders to point to existing folders

Is it possible to create folders in exhange that point to existing folders
on network? I think it would be create if I could create a exchange folder
that pointed to files on the network so that users could also access those
files using OWA and url paths. For example a user could type in the
following URL to access his home dir on the server.
Http://servername/public/username similar to his accessing his email.

Thanks,

Jason

Can't you achieve this through IIS?
