| This should be simple, but I must have this wrong...
Is the only way to set permissions on Exch. 2k Public Folders is if the
Universal Security group is turned into a distribution list???? When I go
to set permissions from System Manager, it only gives me the GAL to select
from??
Please help.
Info:
Win2k domain is Native mode.
No Exch 5.5 servers, all Exch 2k (but Exchange is NOT in native mode yet).

| But I do not want these secutiry groups to be viewable in the GAL, I just
need to use these groups for permissions on the public folders. They are
not neccessarily distribution lists. Is this possible?
I need Universal because we have 2 domains....

| Mail enable them. Assign your permissions. Then select "Hide from GAL" so
they no longer show up.
